J Volt Electric LLC is a family-owned electrical contractor based in Seward, Nebraska. Â

Owner Alex Johnston entered a five-year electrical apprenticeship program following high school and has spent 13 years working in the electrical industry.  He has been a Journeyman Electrician for the past 7 years and earned his Electrical Contractor’s License in January 2026. Â

Alex, his wife Sophie, and their two children are proud to call Seward home. Sophie was born and raised in Seward, where her family has owned and operated several local businesses over the years, including Gary’s Plumbing & Heating,  Big M’s Masonry, and  Cornerstone Interiors & Design.Â
